Grandson of well-known Viennese sculptor Josef Josephu. One of Josephu's statues, "The Dentist Dodger," is featured in the David Selznick film "Since You Went Away" with Joseph Cotton. Marc's distant cousin was character actor Otto Waldis. Marc's great uncles was knighted by the Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph. Marc's mother went to school with Hedy Lamarr in Vienna. Marc was first mentored by Gene Kelly's brother, Fred Kelly, as both a performer and director. Marc worked closely with Sidney Lumet and Woody Allen gaining on-set training in film directing. It was at the urging of Dustin Hoffman and Matthew Broderick when Marc began writing and developing his own projects. Along with business partner Joe Cirillo, they formed the independent film company Oroloro Entertainment. Oroloro is a palindrome which loosely translates to 'Golden Parrot' and is a registered trademark of the company. Oroloro is developing/producing numerous screenplays written by Marc and Joe, with modest budgets ($1-$6 million USD). Three of the many Oroloro projects include: "Love of a Lifetime" (a heavenly romantic comedy to die for), "Hot Properties" (based on a play with the same title written by Richard Wolf, and directed by Marc Baron in New York City), and "MegaBall$" (A comedy about Lotto written by Marc Baron: Tag line: Ya' never know when your number's up; now financing - www.MegaBallsMovie.com). Marc is the Shepherd (President) of The Lambs, America's first professional theatrical club established in 1874, where he often sings, acts, and directs. Marc is very proud of his 30+ year membership in The Lambs. The Lambs were involved in the formation of The Actors' Fund of America, Actors Equity, The Masquers, SAG and ASCAP. Grand-nephew of actor Otto Waldis. Served on the Council of the Episcopal Actors' Guild, a charity that benefits actors. Co-owner of Oroloro Entertainment, LLC (us). The hairdresser, wife and mother Cynthia Kellogg is in police department being interrogated by the experienced detective John Woods and his partner, Detective Linda Nealon. Through flashbacks, she reveals how her best friend and colleague Joyce Urbanski married the scum and nasty James Urbanski; how hard Joyce's life with James was; and why Joyce became a criminal. The smart detective finds some contradictions in her statement and presses Cynthia, trying to disclose the truth of two murders.
